Agni the fire of God

Agni - V is a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile developed by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organisation) of India. Agni missile is a ballistic missile of a short and long range group. This missile named after five elements of nature, Agni missile is a long-range nuclear weapon capable of the surface to surface ballistic missile. It is a three-stage, road-mobile, and solid-fueled missile which is transported by a truck and launched via a canister its first flight was conducted in 2012.

‘Agni - v ’ was the last successfully test-fired from wheeler island off Odisha coast in 2016. This was the fourth and final test of the missile. The missile with a strike range of 5000 km, will balance out china's military muscle. it will give India long - range capability.

India is developing its missile capability to counter China and Pakistan's missile. In India, weapons are named after the Hindu god, the name "Agni" is also derived from the fire of God. Agni 5 official range is 5000 km, but according to different sources, its range can be increased to 8000 km, which makes this missile even more dangerous. If Agni 5 is launched from Delhi, it can destroy entire Pakistan and Beijing ( capital) of China.

How its work ?

ICBM requires a lot of money to developed, for any country that develops ICBM, their economy must be strong. This is the reason that few countries have this technology. It is almost impossible to stop ICBM missile, ICBM has a lot of kinetic energy, due to which only explosive use in it, it will not affect the target as much, that is why it can use only two things. , Nuclear or biological weapon. Using a biological weapon in ICBM is very dangerous, so scientists are focusing on a nuclear weapon. ICBM has three main parts , the first is the launcher, which means that you launch a missile from where. There are also three options available for launching the missile, land, water, and air. Talking about the land launch pattern, it also has two things, the first silo-based missile system, and the second mobile-based missile system. In a silo system, an entire structure is developed to support the ICBM below the ground, the problem of this system is that it can be easily destroyed by tracking it from the enemy country satellite. ICBMs installed in mobile launcher cannot be tracked easily, the reason for this is to use a truck which keeps changing its place from time to time. Today, many countries are using the mobile launcher. India also uses a mobile launcher platform to launch ICBM. The submarine platform is used to launch ICBM from water, it cannot track the platform, due to which it makes ICBM even more dangerous, it is called second missile strike capability. All three (land, mobile, and sea) ICBM launching system makes a trident.

Differences of cruise and ballistic missile

1-The movement of a cruise missile is at a constant speed, this missile is capable of continuously moving at a particular speed. This facility is not available in ballistic missiles. The speed of these missiles is very high at some point and very low at some point.

2 - cruise missiles can change their path, it does not follow a fixed path. They can change their way according to the need, this capability makes these missiles more special. Ballistic missiles follow a fixed path, they cannot change their direction like a cruise missile.

3 - According to the fire strength of the ballistic missile, different - different stage engines are installed in it. It can be a rocket with two stages, three-stage, and four-stage engine. The ballistic missile is launched up to the top of the atmosphere layer, after which it also travels free at some height, after which it also free falls at the speed of 7 mac to 8 mac. Solid or liquid rocket engines are used in the propulsion of ballistic missiles, which divide from a rocket in every stage. The only warhead left in the last is the free fall on the target.
